Help Us Help Kids!
Imagine you're ten years old and it's time for the school field trip. You're afraid to ask for money to go because these aren't your parents, they're strangers. You know money is tight because you're wearing clothes that don't fit. There's not even any money for a bike, school supplies, or spending an afternoon at the movies.

For some kids, that scenario is their life in foster care. Child Advocacy Nonprofit's sole purpose is to provide things for children in the foster care system and delinquency wards that the State does not cover, such as extracurricular activities, hobbies and clothing, as well as medical care not covered by Medicaid. We strive to help these children fit in and feel a sense of normalcy.

But we can't do that without your help! Please, can you give so we can keep on helping the foster children of Michigan?

Our Mission
As everyone is aware, the State of Michigan is in financial crisis and has had to limit the monies that meet children's needs in foster care.  We recognize this need in that the directors of the Child Advocacy Nonprofit Corporation are attorneys that practice in the area of juvenile law and we represent children in all juvenile proceedings.

The purpose of the nonprofit is to raise funds through donations and fundraising activities to meet the needs of children, newborn to 20 years of age, who are in the foster care system and delinquency wards in the Tri-County areas of metropolitan Detroit.

We have provided monies for youths to attend summer school, funds for clothing, medical care that is not covered by Medicaid, just to name a few things.  The only criteria we have is that the Department of human services are not able to cover the expense of the needed items for the child or services that are not available through other means.

We are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization and all the donations are tax exempt.  None of the directors are compensated for services provided to this corporation and other than minimal operating costs, all the funds received are used to meet the children's needs.
